Gap between homes
The old lease ends in March, the new one starts in May: we collect on move-out day, store the time in between and put everything into the new flat at move-in. You bridge the gap without camping at a friend's place or paying double rent.
Time abroad
Sabbatical, a semester overseas, a project year: instead of paying for an empty Berlin flat, you give it up and store your household for a fixed monthly amount. When you return, we redeliver to your new address.

Storage cost per month

Collection is handled by our moving team at the normal hourly rates: two helpers with a van (12 m3) at 46 EUR per hour or two helpers with a 3.5t truck (20 m3) at 56 EUR per hour, minimum booking two hours, travel within Berlin included.
Security & access
Dry, monitored, always reachable
Your household is stored with care: dry, protected and documented. The space is video-monitored, furniture stands raised and covered, and cushions and mattresses get their own wrapping. When storing, we note what stands where, so we can find any piece again without shifting the whole stack.
Access is by appointment: a quick call or email and we open the space during office hours, Mon-Fri 8am-6pm. Individual pieces we can also bring straight to you on request, so you do not have to come by yourself. When it is time to move on, the same team handles the move within Berlin.

Questions about storage in Berlin
?How much does self storage in Berlin cost?
The scale is fixed: 1 cubic metre from 9 EUR a month, 5 cubic metres from 39 EUR, 10 cubic metres from 69 EUR. All prices include VAT. If you need more space, you get an individual quote after the free survey, and you are only ever billed for the volume your belongings actually take up.
?Do you collect my things, or do I bring them myself?
On request we do everything: the team collects your household at the door, secures the load and stacks it neatly in the unit. Collection is charged at our regular hourly rates, for example two helpers with a van at 46 EUR per hour or two helpers with a 3.5t truck at 56 EUR per hour. Delivering your items yourself by appointment is also possible.
?How is the storage protected against damp and theft?
The space is dry throughout and video-monitored. Your belongings do not sit on bare concrete but raised and covered, and delicate pieces are wrapped as well. For transport to the unit and back, statutory removal liability applies (620 EUR per cubic metre). We handle everything with our own trained team.
?Can I access my stored items in between?
Yes, by appointment. Call 030 754367340 or email [email protected] and we open the space for you within office hours, Mon-Fri 8am-6pm. If you are only after one particular box, the team helps you restack to reach it.
?Is there a minimum term or notice period?
No, we bill month by month. Tell us at the request stage roughly how long you expect to store, and you extend informally if it runs longer. Once your new address is confirmed, we simply arrange a date for redelivery.
?How does storage work during a gap between two homes?
This is our most common case. We collect everything on move-out day, store it for the weeks or months in between and deliver to the new address on move-in day: one point of contact, one invoice. We plan the move-out, the storage and the move-in as one connected job.
?Is storage worth it while I am abroad?
Very often, yes. If you are going abroad for a year, 10 cubic metres of storage from 69 EUR a month saves you a lot compared with keeping a Berlin flat and its rent running. We collect your household before you leave, you hand back the flat, and you contact us for redelivery when you return.
