From offer to the first working day at the new site

Survey
We look at the old and new site: workstations, lifts, loading zones and the time slots of the building management.

Fixed price & date
You get the fixed price in writing plus the schedule, usually with a loading slot after closing or at the weekend.

Pack & dismantle
Boxes arrive in advance, each workstation gets a number. Our crew dismantles desks and cabinets.

Set up to plan
At the new site the team sets everything up to the floor plan. Monday morning everyone sits at their place.

IT & sensitive hardware
The tricky part is not the cabinet, it is the server
A toppled filing cabinet is annoying; a damaged computer stops the work. That is why we treat hardware as its own category: monitors, computers and printers are padded individually, loaded upright and labelled per workstation. Server racks and network gear travel secured on a dedicated run, and the patching stays with your IT. In practices and law offices the same care applies to files: they keep their order and are put back shelf by shelf at the destination. If nobody wants to pack, book our pack service on top. Whichever route you choose, the invoice goes to the company with VAT shown separately.

Office move: hourly rate or fixed price
Small units often work out best by the hour; from a handful of workstations we recommend the fixed price after a free survey. All rates include VAT and travel in Berlin, minimum booking 2 hours, then in 30-minute increments.

Moving to another city?
If the new site is outside Berlin, we plan it as a long-distance move: a fixed price after the survey, with a part-load option for smaller loads.
Does it all fit at the new site?
New spaces are often smaller. Surplus furniture and archive boxes go into our dry, monitored storage from 9 EUR per cubic metre and month, and we deliver once there is room.

?How do you calculate the price for an office move?
It always starts with the free survey: we count workstations, check lifts and routes and then name a written fixed price. If you prefer to stay flexible, book by the hour instead: 2 helpers with a van cost 46 EUR/hr, the largest team with a 7.5t truck 99 EUR/hr. All prices include VAT and travel in Berlin, with a minimum booking of 2 hours.
?Can you move us outside our business hours?
That is exactly what office moves are for. We load after closing, at night or at the weekend so your clients notice nothing. The slot is fixed during the survey. You reach the office by phone Mon-Fri 8am to 6pm, and the online request is open around the clock.
?How do computers, monitors and printers move safely?
Each device is wrapped individually in bubble wrap, placed in a sturdy box and labelled with the workstation number, so every screen stands on the right desk again at the new site. Connecting and disconnecting the network hardware stays with your IT department or IT partner, while we handle the safe transport.
?Can we get the invoice made out to the company?
Yes. After the survey you receive a written fixed price, and the final invoice is issued to your company with VAT shown separately, ready for your accounting. Business moving costs are generally a deductible operating expense; please confirm the details with your tax advisor.
?Do our staff have to pack themselves?
Only if you want them to. Option one: everyone packs their personal items into a supplied box and we do the rest. Option two: our pack service handles everything from folders to the coffee machine. We deliver boxes in advance, to buy for 2.40 EUR or to rent for 1 EUR per week.
?How do you handle files and confidential documents?
Files keep their order, move shelf by shelf into labelled boxes and are put back in the same order at the new site. On request we transport files on a separate, dedicated run. For law offices and practices that is standard, not a special wish.
?What if the new office isn't ready yet?
Then we buffer it: furniture and boxes go into our dry, monitored storage and arrive once the space is ready. Storage costs from 9 EUR per cubic metre and month. Collection, storage and later delivery all come from a single provider.
